To record multiple office locations
The Client Profile can store multiple client office locations.
Add an Office
To add an office location to a Client Record, navigate to the Client Profile screen. About half way down the screen, there is a section that lists the offices for the Client. Click on the "Add Office" link, and the Create Office screen will be displayed. Fill in the appropriate information, and click on the blue "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen. The office will be saved in the appropriate Client Profile.
To keep track of Documents
The Client Profile is a good place to store electronic copies of documents like contracts and job orders. It's easy to attach a document to the Client Profile.
You may add any file stored on your local computer to a Client Profile by opening the appropriate Client Profile and clicking on the "Add Attachment" option on the right side of the screen. The Add Attachment screen will now be displayed. The first field asks you for an "Attachment Description". This is where you should enter what you would like to call the attachment. For Instance, if a client sent you a contract, you may call it "Contract A". The next field is the "Choose File" field. Click on the "Browse" key just t the right of the field, and find the file that you would like to attach. Select the file for attachment, and once you have done so, click the blue "Submit" button. The file will be attached to the Client Profile.
To Manage Client Contacts
To add a new contact to an existing client go to the Client profile page and scroll down until you see the section of the screen called "Contacts". On the far right side of the Contacts section there is an option that says "Add contact". Select this option and the Create Contact page will be displayed. Fill in the contact's information, and the click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen. You Contact will now be stored under the appropriate client.
To add a new Client Contact by importing a vCard, go to the Client Profile screen, select the option toward the bottom of the page on the right side that says "Import vCard". The "Import vCard" screen will now be displayed.
Click on the button that says "browse", and find the vCard file that you would like to import. Once you have found the file, highlight it and click on the "open" option. You should now see the file name in the "Choose vCard File" field. Next, click the "Submit" key at the bottom of the Create vCard screen. The Create Contact screen will now be displayed with the Contact's information from their vCard. Fill in any additional information and then click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen. The Contact will now be saved in your BrightMove database.
