Why request my XML Data?
If you decide that BrightMove is not the right ATS for you, you will probably need to extract your data so that you will have it to enter into another ATS or another program. The XML file output can easily be imported into another system.
How to request your data in XML format
From the Tools menu in the left frame of BrightMove, select the option that says "Request XML Data". The output will be generated at 1AM the that you make the request. The next morning, you will have an email that says your data is ready for download.
What data is included in my XML file?
All information that the licensed users have entered into BrightMove in included in the standard XML File output EXCEPT Attachments. This includes information entered during the trial and regular enrollment period.
How to Download XML Data
Log into the BrightMove system as you normally would. From the tools menu, select "Download XML Data". There will be two files for you to download – one containing resumes and candidate information and the other containing client information.
