Outlook Plugin 2010
The Outlook Plugin will allow you to synchronize new emails and continued email conversations from Outlook into your BrightMove Account. The set up is quick and easy, and will synchronize the emails into the activities section of the applicant or contact. Just follow the below steps.
Downloading the Outlook Plugin
Download the below zip file and install the setup.exe file.

Configuring the Outlook Plugin
1. Go to Outlook and select File and select the Options button
2. Select the Addin's option at the bottom as seen in this screen shot.
3. Select the BrightMove AddIn and then select the Add in Options Button at the top under the "Add-in Options" heading.
4. Once you've selected to manage the BrightMove Addin you'll need to put in some specific information in the following BrightMove tab.
Company API Key- Can be found under Settings>Manage Your Company and the General tab. You will see a place for API Key.
Username: Insert your BrightMove Username
Password: Insert your BrightMove Password
5. Then press Test Account.
You should see the following message showing a successfully authenticated:
6. Lastly, Select the Folder that you'd like to synch with Outlook.
Choosing the correct Synch folder in your Inbox is important. BrightMove suggest creating specific Synch Folder in your Inbox to synch to BrightMove. Not doing this could cause delays with emails. |
7. Once you've finished the above steps successfully the Outlook Add-In should be working properly.
Correct Functionality of Add-In
The Outlook Add-in will synchronize the emails that it receives in the Inbox folder you selected with BrightMove. Adding the contents of the email to the applicant or contact's activity list.
