Recording the placement of a candidate with a client
In the submittals section of the Applicant Profile page, find the job that the person is being hired for, and click on the "Add Activity" icon to the right of the position title. You should now see the "Create New Activity" screen.
From the list of available options in the submittal status drop down menu, select "Accepted". Select the appropriate activity type form the menu, and then type in your notes on the acceptance. Click on the blue "Submit" button at the bottom of the Create New Activity box.
You will now see a screen that says "Submittal Accepted by Client". Fill in all of the appropriate information (start date, hire date, end date, commission end date, etc). Make sure that the CORRECT recruiter is shown in the recruiter box. This information is used to generate the commission report, as well as appear on the appropriate Placement Report. Make sure that the correct employment type is selected, because this information is used to generate the profit margin for the placement. Fill in any bonuses or MBO notes that you have, and then click the blue "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen. The "Placement Details" screen will be displayed.
If the placed applicant does not appear on the appropriate placement report, make sure the correct Start and End Date (if contract placement) are correct.

In order to make sure that a recruiter gets credit for the placement, the recruiter MUST be listed as the recruiter on the Placement Details page.
Profit per Placement
The profit margin is listed by percentage and actual dollar amount on the "Placement Details" screen. You can view that screen by going to the Applicant Profile, and then clicking on the "submittal details" icon (the middle icon) in the Submittal Activity section of the screen.
